Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in the One Tree Hill series' final three years. The show featured her debut albums as country music and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. The follow-up Thirty One in 2015 Thirty One reached the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside a series of non-album singles. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to music from the country genre and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. After a few guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC Friday Night Lights in the second season of 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as well as Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the final season of the show in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract with Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I Won't Go Down" in the show's episode. In mid-2012, the track was included in her first complete album Jana Kramer. It was a part of the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Kramer continued to appear in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The month of September 2016 saw her time in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended in a fourth place final. That same year, the song Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser was hugely popular among adults.
